Peoria City Council approves shopping center at War Memorial/University intersection

UPDATE: (6:45 p.m.) -- A measure to set up a small strip mall at a busy Peoria intersection was approved by the Peoria City Council on Tuesday.  The move, approved 10-1 will allow the developer to create the one-level facility which would house a Dutch Bros. coffee shop and possibly another food venue in the future.  The measure which actually changed the fine print of the zoning for the property which was a former car dealership. 2nd District C…
