PennDOT to begin resurfacing in Elk County as part of multi-county improvement project

ELK COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Drivers in Elk County should prepare for delays as PennDOT launches resurfacing work on Route 4003 starting Tuesday, Sept. 16. The project, which spans Long Level and Tambine roads in Jones and Ridgway townships, is part of a $5.2 million contract to improve 31 miles of roadway across Cameron, Clearfield, and Elk counties.
