WASHINGTON — White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt read Thursday a medical letter about President Donald Trump which, according to her, was aimed at alleviating health concerns related to swelling in her ankles and a hand covered with makeup. Leavitt indicated that Trump noticed a “mild swelling” in the lower part of her legs and was evaluated by the White House medical unit.
