A pedestrian was struck and killed in Horry County Tuesday. The accident occurred around 4:30pm near Starbuck Lake Road in the Murrells Inlet area. A 2007 Chevrolet van was traveling south on Highway 707 when it veered off the right side of the road and hit the person who was also heading south along the sidewalk.
