Pedestrian rushed to hospital after getting hit on busy N.J. highway, cops say

A pedestrian is being treated at the hospital after getting hit by a car at a busy highway intersection. The person was struck at 8:13 a.m. on Monday at the intersection of Route 31 and Church Street in Flemington, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement. The car was making a left turn onto Route 31 at the time of the crash, officials said.
