- Award-Winning actor Jamie Bell will star as Duke Shelby, the eldest son of Tommy Shelby, in the new Peaky Blinders series, taking over the role previously played by Barry Keoghan in The Immortal Man.
- Set 10 years after the events of The Immortal Man, the new series explores post-war Birmingham in the 1950s, which writer and creator Steven Knight describes as a "brutal contest of mythical dimensions."
- Joining Bell are Stranger Things actor Charlie Heaton, Jessica Brown Findlay, Lashana Lynch, and newcomer Lucy Karczewski, with production by Kudos and Garrison Drama now filming in and around Digbeth Loc.
- Netflix and the BBC have commissioned two series, each consisting of six 60-minute episodes, available on BBC iPlayer, BBC One, and Netflix globally.
- The series follows the next generation of the Shelby family navigating post-war Birmingham's unprecedented opportunity and jeopardy, with Heaton potentially leading the street gang alongside Duke.
