Pashinyan Downplays Border Breach, Criticizes Syunik Woman Shot By Azerbaijani Intruder
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday downplayed breach of Armenia’s border last week by an Azerbaijani soldier, who entered a residence in the Shaki village in Syunik, held children at gunpoint and shot a woman, who is still being treated for serious injuries.
"There is a possibility that the Azerbaijani serviceman detained in Armenia will be handed over to Baku in the near future as a "goodwill gesture" without any reciprocal steps being expected."
