ELYRIA, Ohio — The Lorain County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday a $1,000 donation from Partners with Paws to support the ongoing care, training and equipment needs of its six K-9s currently serving the community.

The Lorain County Sheriff’s Office has received a $1,000 donation to support its K-9 Unit, according to a news release. The donation was presented Oct. 7 at the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office following the annual Cause for Paws Car Show hosted by Firelands Chevrolet in Vermilion this past September, the release said.
