Partizán's parliamentary coverage was canceled after Jakab Kuczog and the crew were not allowed in. The editorial staff disputes the Parliament's justification.
Can't a YouTube channel be a press?
The Partizan staff could not report from the Parliament after the authorities refused their entry into parliament. According to the information published on the channel's community page, reporter Jakab Kuczogi and the other members of the crew were not allowed into the building, so their regular parliamentary report was missed, in which they would have questioned Péter Szijjártó, among others.
The first explanation was refuted by the editorial staff. The second, however, they said bordered on absurdity, which had not even occurred to them before. The post Partizán crew not allowed into Parliament first appeared on 24.hu.
According to the channel, the reason for the exclusion was that Partizán is not listed as a "press product" on the NMHH website.
Partizán's regular parliamentary coverage was canceled on Monday after the channel claimed that reporter Jakab Kuczogi and his crew were not allowed into the Parliament. According to the editorial staff, the denial of accreditation was initially based on the lack of NMHH registration, but after this was verified, they came up with a new justification.
