AUSTIN (KXAN) — Delta Air Lines confirmed with KXAN that one of its aircrafts experienced an issue during an Austin-bound flight Tuesday. The Delta Air Lines flight 1893 landed at its destination Austin, Texas, with the left wing damaged last Tuesday, August 19. A passenger filmed a video of what happened with his mobile phone through a window of the plane, in which you can see a fragment of the wing detached. The flight departed Orlando, and landed smoothly in Austin, despite the mishap. The aircraft has subsequently been withdrawn from service for maintenance.
