The future park of La Castellana: 70,000 square meters and 800 new trees
The mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, presented yesterday the “Parque Castellana”, a project to bury traffic in the Paseo de la Castellana between Calle Sinesio Delgado and Nudo Norte de la M-30. On the surface, almost 800 trees are to be planted and a bike path, a hill with grada or a monumental fountain is to be created.
