Parkston, SMFC sending teams to Class B state Junior Legion tourney

MILBANK, S.D. — A pair of Mitchell-area baseball programs will be playing in the Class B state Junior Legion baseball tournament, which starts Friday in Milbank. Parkston Post 194 (16-4) will face Clark Area (11-2) in the opening game at 10 a.m. Friday in Milbank. In the second game, Sioux Falls Post 911 (14-7) will face Scotland/Menno/Freeman/Canistota Post 152 (22-2), with the winners of those games playing in Saturday's first semifinal game. …
