WASHINGTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, JUL 29 – Authorities are searching for a white male suspect after a married couple was fatally attacked while hiking with their two young daughters in a remote Arkansas state park.
- Arkansas State Police launched a double homicide investigation after Clinton David Brink, 43, and Cristen Amanda Brink, 41, were found dead on a Devil’s Den State Park trail around 2.40pm, authorities said.
- Amid the park’s rugged terrain, emergency calls alerted police to an assault at 2:30 pm on July 26, 2025, involving the Brinks at Devil’s Den State Park.
- The suspect, a white male with medium build, fled in a black four-door sedan, possibly a Mazda, with its license plate partly covered by tape at Devil’s Den State Park.
- In the immediate aftermath, Arkansas State Police said, `We are using all available resources to apprehend this suspect and bring him to justice`, and the couple’s daughters, ages 7 and 9, are safe with family members.
- Authorities released a composite sketch and urged Saturday visitors to review photos or videos and call ASP Troop L at 751-6663.
