Ohio-based convenience store chain breaks ground on new Charleston location
A new Par Mar Stores location in downtown Charleston at former site of General Electric site along the Kanawha River hosted a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday, Sept. 4, 2024. The new convenience store will also have an Arby's restaurant and sell BP fuel. Construction is expected to start next month and the new location is expected to open by late 2024 or the first half of 2025.
