Papendrechtsebrug (N3) Will Be Closed for More than 9 Months Next Year
The Papendrechtsebrug, on the N3 between Papendrecht and Dordrecht, will be closed for more than nine months from July 2026 due to a major renovation. Several parts of the bridge over the Beneden-Merwede must be replaced. Papendrechtsebrug Closed for Maintenance for Nine Months Next Year
The Papendrechtsebrug will be closed for more than nine months next July for work. The movable part of the bridge in the N3 needs to be replaced. Road traffic will be diverted via the A15 and the A16. Tall ships will only be able to pass the bridge once a month for more than fourteen months. A ferry will be provided for cyclists and pedestrians.
