U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi and the head of the DEA, Terrance Cole, were self-congratulated by Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada García’s plea of guilt, calling the event an unprecedented triumph, the possible end of the Sinaloa Cartel and proof that “no one is beyond the reach of U.S. justice,” but apparently they forgot to recognize their counterparts in Mexico until they answered a question about bilateral cooperation.
