Pakistan wins the toss and decides to bowl against Bangladesh in the 2nd test
On Saturday, Pakistan captain Shan Masood won the toss and chose to bowl first against Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in the second Test.
Bangladesh leads the series 1-0 after winning the first Test in Dhaka by 104 runs earlier this week, with fast bowler Nahid Rana claiming five wickets as Pakistan were bowled out for 163.
Pakistan made three lineup changes, including the return of star batsman Babar Azam, who replaced Imam-ul-Haq; pacer Khurram Shahzad and spinner Sajid Khan also joined, replacing Shaheen Shah Afridi and Noman Ali.
Bangladesh handed a Test debut to Tanzid Hasan and brought back pace bowler Shoriful Islam, replacing the injured Shadman Islam and Ebadot Hossian in two squad changes.
This series is part of the ICC World Test Championship, with Bangladesh aiming for its second consecutive series victory against Pakistan as both teams compete to improve their global standings.
