Pair charged in N.J. carjacking that threw owner off the hood of the car

Two people have been charged with carjacking after the owner jumped onto the hood of the vehicle to try and stop his vehicle from being stolen in Lodi, officials with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said. Davon White, 18, of Paterson and a 17-year-old were charged with first-degree carjacking, second-degree robbery as well as theft in the March incident.
