Ozon began to ban employees under the age of 18 from work in the stores of the Marketplace, with reference to the company's employees writing the "Wurstka" project. The death and injury of minors in Belgorod is considered to be the reason for the restrictions. David Z, a 16-year-old disabled, died in a recent attack on 30 August.
Ozon has limited the possibility for minors to register in warehouses in at least four cities in Russia — Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk and Ufe — writing "Verstka" with reference to company employees and messages in dedicated chat rooms.
