(WVDN) – Road work on Interstate 64, milepost 158.03 to 164.21 (Clintonville to Sam Black Church), is scheduled from 6:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. daily, beginning Monday, August 18, through late November 2025, for pavement preservation and guardrail replacement. Overnight Closures Planned on I-64 for Roadway Repairs and Guardrail Work
MT. VERNON – Road closures are planned on eastbound and westbound I-64 from milepost 62 to 73 Tuesday night for roadway patching and guardrail repairs according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Eastbound I-64 will be closed from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Westbound I-64 will be closed from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Each direction of I-64 will be opened as soon as possible. Traffic will be detoured using Illinois 15.
