The Michal Mine in Ostrava will undergo another extensive renovation. The largest building in the mine complex, the coal sorting plant, will be transformed for a hundred million crowns. The National Heritage Institute wants the work to be completed by the end of November 2027. The goal of the project is to make the sorting plant accessible to the public, but also to secure it statically and protect cultural heritage.
