VIENNA. The ORF Public Council met on Thursday at the ORF Centre in Vienna for its inaugural meeting.

Gabriele Zgubic-Engleder is the new chairman of the 28-member Sehervertretung. Nine persons were elected for the weighty ORF-Stiftungsrat. His - party-political - occupation is thus fixed.
The ORF Public Council met on Thursday at the ORF-Zentrum in Vienna for its inaugural meeting. The 28 members unanimously elected a new chairman: Gabriele Zgubic-Engleder. Nine people from their own ranks were also elected by a simple majority for the far more weighty ORF-Stiftungsrat. In doing so, the previously colported division according to party proximity became reality.
