SALEM – The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife has released its annual report and census of wolves in the state. The minimum known count of wolves was 204, an increase of 15 percent over 2023. A total of 25 packs were documented, with 17 packs containing breeding pairs. Wolves continued to expand westward with five new packs in the West Wolf Management Zone.
