Breaking News - An ex officio investigation has been launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against CHP Istanbul Deputy Cemal Enginyurt for the crimes of 'insulting the President' and 'threating' due to the words he uttered against President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during his party's group meeting today.

President Erdoğan spoke at the 7th Congress of the AKP Headquarters Women's Branch. Erdoğan said, "We can never allow our people's lifestyle, beliefs and cultural values to be interfered with by ideological bigotry. We will not tolerate the usurpation of the gains that women have achieved as a result of their struggles by 3-5 fascists, whether it is local governments or the private sector."
