The invasion of Czechoslovakia by the Warsaw Pact troops on the night of August 20-21, 1968, caught Josef Bartošek in the military. He served in the Holešov barracks, which was the only one in Czechoslovakia that did not cooperate with the occupiers and did not open the gate despite government orders.
Today marks 57 years since the then Czechoslovakia experienced a black day in its modern history.
