Operation Amherst: 80 years ago, the heroic gesture of French SAS in occupied Holland

RECIT.- In April 1945, 700 French paratroopers of the Special Air Service were dropped in Holland to disrupt the German army and prepare for the arrival of Canadians. This bold, unknown and decisive mission was the last major allied airborne operation in Europe.
