The Central European University (CEU) in Vienna has awarded this year's "Open Society Prize" to Russian opposition leader Yulia Navalnaya. Darya, daughter of Yulia and opposition leader Alexei Navalny, who was killed in 2024, accepted the award in Vienna on Saturday on behalf of her mother. The ceremony was closed to the public. For security reasons, it was held as part of a gala dinner, a CEU spokeswoman told APA.
