Hendrik Jan Van Ginkel Construction has been fined $60,000 after a worker was fatally injured falling from the roof of a barn under construction. On Dec. 7, 2023, the company was constructing a barn on a farm in Thamesford, Ont. A worker contracted by the company was installing strapping across roof trusses on the barn.
