Colon cancer remains the most prevalent malignant tumor in Extremadura, yet the great tool to detect it in time does not end. Only four out of ten Extremadurans called to participate in the screening program have undergone a test that can completely change the prognosis of the disease. It is a simple, painless test, free and able to locate lesions before they even give their face, but the citizen response continues far below what is necessary.
