The fighting in the Pokrovskoye area is among the most intense on the entire front. Although the current conflict is often associated with the use of modern technologies, in some situations their effectiveness is significantly reduced and improvisation begins to play a decisive role. The Ukrainian unit chose a risky solution and sent a soldier who was supposed to deliver an explosive charge directly to the Russian positions.

A video from the Ukrainian Witness project shows an operation in which a Ukrainian soldier carried explosives on his back right “under the enemy’s nose” – into the middle of Russian positions.
