Dispute over the beginning of the deadline: After criminal complaint by Cannabis Association – Secretary of State Thul comments on allegations

On 1 April, the Cannabis Act in Germany celebrates its first birthday. However, it is still not implemented in the Saarland. Still not a single association in this country is allowed to grow cannabis. Now an association is suing against it and has filed a lawsuit against the environmental secretary Sebastian Thul (SPD).

SAARBRÜCKEN. One year after the partial legalisation of cannabis, fines previously imposed in the Saarland have been imposed in 500 cases. They are purely cases of decrees in which the only convicted offence was mostly the pure possession of cannabis, which according to the new law is allowed in certain quantities for self-consumption, as the prosecutor's office Saarbrücken [...]
