- Amid a routine development audit, Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority cited alleged violations of Ogun State Urban and Regional Planning Law last Friday.
- Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority pasted a notice ordering property owners to produce all relevant planning permits within 24 hours or face demolition.
- Following the sealing, Otunba Gbenga Daniel’s media aide described the threat as a ‘clear case of political persecution’ orchestrated by Governor Dapo Abiodun.
- Ahead of the August 16, 2025, Remo by-election, Daniel and his loyalists were excluded from the APC Campaign Council, amid intense political rivalry and speculation over the Ogun East Senatorial seat.
