October trial set for ex-Benicia teacher charged with child molestations

A former Benicia Unified school teacher accused of child molestations will face an October jury trial in Solano County Superior Court. Matthew Joseph Shelton, 43, appeared in Department 15 in Vallejo Monday morning for a trial setting in the Justice Building, where he faces 12 felony counts of lewds acts on four children under 14.
