Governor Kevin Stitt signs Lauria and Ashley's Law
House Bill 1001, known as Lauria and Ashley’s Law, has been signed by Governor Kevin Stitt. The bill requires people convicted of being an accessory to first or second degree murder to serve 85% of their prison sentence before they can be eligible for consideration for parole.
