The chip contractor GF wants to expand its Dresden plant even before the state subsidies are final.
Number of days: US chip manufacturer Global Foundries wants to invest 1.1 billion euros in the coming years to build up its factory in Dresden, reports the German Handelsblatt. The federal government is expected to support the expansion with several hundred million euros, but the final funding pledge is still missing.
