- A verification census and on-site visit found 88 students were also captured while fleeing during the attack, with victims aged 10 to 18, as Rev. Bulus Dauwa Yohanna, chairman of the Niger state chapter of CAN, visited Friday.
- Security forces have deployed tactical squads and local hunters to rescue abductees, no group claims responsibility, and Rev. Bulus Dauwa Yohanna disputed the state government’s reopening claim.
