Northrop Grumman invests more than $2 billion in Sentinel ICBM as U.S. nuclear deterrent modernization moves toward early 2030s

Sentinel is being developed as a system of systems connecting more than 450 missiles and silos with Wing Command Centers and Launch Centers. Northrop Grumman said the network is designed to maintain continuous readiness while allowing the system to be modernized over decades of service.
