Northern Lights Visible In Central Pennsylvania
The Northern Lights were showing in parts of Central Pennsylvania last night. NOAA says the aurora borealis was visible in some parts of the state due to a strong geomagnetic storm that was triggered by a massive burst of solar material and magnetic field from the sun’s outer atmosphere. They noted it also triggered the strongest solar radiation storm since 2003.
