North Providence pool facility to reopen after two years following underground explosion
NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The North Providence Pool and Fitness Center will reopen Wednesday afternoon for the first time in two years. The pool shut down in 2023 following an underground explosion due to a buildup of chlorine gas. The mayor’s office told ABC6 that the pool underwent a complete overhaul. The Mineral Spring Avenue facility reopens at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. Categories: News, Rhode Island
