North Liberty weighs local option sales tax

Hunter 07/07/25 The North Liberty City Council is considering putting up a local option sales tax to vote this November. State law requires half of the revenue from the proposed 1 percent tax to go to property tax relief, with the rest to be used at the city’s discretion.
