Owners Escape Lafayette House Fire with No Injuries

LAFAYETTE PARISH, LOUISIANA, JUL 19 – Firefighters contained the blaze within 30 minutes, saving the family and three dogs while the cause remains under investigation, officials said.

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- Last night, Lafayette firefighters responded to a house fire in the 200 block of Bellridge Drive. According to firefighters, the single-family dwelling was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived on scene. The fire was venting through the roof over the carport and back of the dwelling.
