Gun charges against three New Jersey men have been reinstated by an appeals court ruling that sidestepped a challenge to the state’s ban on carry permits for those under 21. The case involved three young men who were between the ages of 18 and 20 when they were charged with unlawful possession of a gun without a permit in Essex County.
