A Mercer County teacher was arrested this week after she was accused of sexually assaulting a student at a state nature preserve, authorities said.Jessica Sawicki, 37, of Point Pleasant was charged with five counts of second-degree sexual assault and five counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, according to a release from the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.

Former Cy-Fair High School teacher accused of having sexual relationship with student

HOUSTON (KIAH) — A now former teacher is accused of having sex with one of his students, sometimes on school property. Kayden Burbank, 29, was a teacher at Cy-Fair High School.  According to court documents, he had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old student, with at least one alleged encounter happening in a classroom. Burbank appeared in court on Wednesday morning, where his bond was set at $60,000.
