N.J. man struck and killed while crossing the street, police say

A Cumberland County man was struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing a street in Bridgeton on Monday, police said.The 24-year-old Bridgeton man was “improperly crossing” East Broad Street near Laurel Street around 6 p.m. when he was hit by a westbound car driven by a Bridgeton resident, according to city police.
