Nintendo Announces Mario Claymation Show, As Part of New Kid-Themed My Mario Product Line Push
JAPAN, AUG 8 – The My Mario series offers interactive toys, clothing, and a free app that lets children and parents play together, with 34 initial products launching in Japan, Nintendo said.
- On Friday, August 8, 2025, Nintendo unveiled the My Mario series, set to launch in Japan on August 26, 2025, including wooden blocks, an interactive board book, and stop motion shorts.
- Ahead of this September, Nintendo of Japan has teased the My Mario series as part of pre-announcements leading up to Mario’s 40th anniversary.
- Mario Wood Block Sets offer amiibo functionality and come in 3-piece for ¥2,980 and 30-piece for ¥19,980, along with the Hello, Mario! board book.
- From August 26, Nintendo’s Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto stores will start selling My Mario products, with select items arriving outside Japan next year.
- Nintendo says the My Mario series will expand with apparel, general goods and plush toys, with some items launching elsewhere in 2026.
