Los Angeles (USA) - Jack Nicholson didn't want to go to the Oscars. It was 1976 and he was nominated for best actor for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Miloš Forman's film, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a re-release in theaters across the United States on July 13 and 16, became something of a sensation - it was the second highest-grossing film of 1975, behind Jaws, and received nine Oscar nominations, the AP agency reminds.
