Monday, March 30, 2026Monday morning the Custer County commissioners enacted a burn ban for the county. Under the terms of the ban signed into effect for the next 14 days, the only exclusions to the burn ban are road construction, welding, and outdoor cooking with certain specifications met. The commissioners will revisit the conditions of the burn ban at next week’s meeting.
