New York Giants reportedly closing in on John Harbaugh as next head coach

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Wednesday night that the New York Giants are closing in on John Harbaugh, with both sides working to finalize an agreement and contract numbers still under negotiation on Jan. 15, 2026.
Harbaugh became available after he was dismissed by the Baltimore Ravens, and the Giants, coming off a 3-14 season, want an established leader, with interest in his strong quarterback and draft focus.
