Two children pulled from Perth’s Swan River after suspected drowning
Two children have died in a suspected drowning in Perth’s east. Members of the public pulled a boy and girl from the waters of the Swan River at Burswood Park. The incident occurred just before 5:30pm on Sunday afternoon. Citizens and emergency services conducted CPR on the pair, but they couldn’t be saved. A report is to be prepared for the coroner.
