Vitesse finds itself in a precarious situation once again, a year after the Arnhem club narrowly avoided professional football. The club management says it is being pushed aside by three departing shareholders.
Vitesse has once again run into major problems. The four remaining foreign minority shareholders are at odds with the club. In a statement, the club announced that the quartet had reportedly dismissed the Supervisory Board and the management. "Relationships with the Licensing Committee are currently good. Unfortunately, relations with the foreign shareholders have deteriorated significantly," Vitesse stated.
Shareholder Timo Braasch no longer wants to play any role at Vitesse. He writes this in response to questions from De Gelderlander regarding the conflict that has arisen between foreign shareholders and the Vitesse management. "The only thing I want is to sell my shares."
It is a crisis at Vitesse again. The four foreign owners have dismissed the management and Supervisory Board out of the blue, the club reported on Monday. The Arnhem-based club claims that the shareholders are not authorized to do this at all.
